APPs stand for applications and is basically a “piece of software” that has been designed to work with either the iPhone, iPad or the new Android phones and tablets. The software used to make the iPad and iPhone work is completely different to the software that is required to make your Apple computer or Windows computer work.

Just like programmers can create a piece of software to run on your computer (think LIFE Syste, Indigo, CoRe, BEST System etc etc) equally programmers can create applications which can be used on your iPad or iPhone. Research shows that the portable devices like the iPad and iPhone will soon supersede the sales of laptops.
